All Your Marvel Dreams Come True:The 2019 Kona Iron Man Edition Is Almost Here

Marvel  fans  rejoice:  the  ultimate  fan  vehicle  is  coming  in  early  2019.  Hyundai  and  Marvel  have partnered  to  create  something  Tony  Stark  himself  would  be  proud  of.  The  2019  Kona  Iron  Man Edition  will  have  all  the  bells  and  whistles  that  the  billionaire,  philanthropist  himself  would  have wanted.      

 

Exterior  Design  

 

The  2019  Kona  has  its  own  take  on  the  Iron  Man  aesthetic.  Coated  in  matte  grey  paint  with  red armor  accents  and  a  dark  chrome  front  grille,  the  palette  is  inspired  by  our  favorite  robotic  superhero.  There  will  be  an  Iron  Man  mask  graphic  on  the  roof  and  Stark  Industry  decals  on  the back  doors.  Electric  blue  daytime  running  lights  at  the  front  are  shaped  to  look  like  the  eyes  of  the  Iron  Man Mask,  and  the  V-shaped  hood  is  beveled  with  the  Marvel  logo.  In  fact,  there  are  Iron  Man Exosuit  cues  throughout,  including  the  front  and  rear  bumpers,  headlight  bezels,  cladding,  and  skid  plates.    
 

 

Interior  Design  

 

The  designers  certainly  didn’t  forget  about  the  interior.  Inside  the  Kona  there  will  be  themed  technical  graphics  for  the  Heads-up  Display  startup  animation  sequence  and  instrument  panel. There  will  also  be  a  Tony  Stark  signature  on  the  dashboard  and  an  Iron  Man  mask  on  the  smart  key.  In  case  that  wasn’t  enough,  the  Stark  Industries  branded  8-inch  color  touchscreen navigation  interface  should  do  you  in.
