Hertrich is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its 7th Annual Cash for Class event, marking another year of community engagement and educational support. This year’s event was a tremendous success, with voting concluding in November and each winner receiving an in-person surprise—including Cash for Class funding, a giant check, and a winner banner to display in their classroom!
Since its inception, Cash for Class has provided crucial funding for classrooms and educational programs in local schools. Thanks to the generous contributions from Hertrich and the dedicated support from each of their dealerships across Delaware and Maryland, over $250,000 has been awarded to more than 250 classrooms. This year alone, $92,000 was awarded to 94 classrooms, continuing the program’s mission of enriching education.

Record-Breaking Community Support!
This year’s Cash for Class program was a standout success! With an astounding 60,000 votes cast by the community, excitement was at an all-time high. A total of 94 incredible projects were awarded funding, making a lasting impact on students and schools.
At the top of the leaderboard, Corey Pennypacker from Caesar Rodney High School secured $2,000 in funding for Aviation Ground School Simulators, helping students take their education to new heights—literally!
